Vocabulary

Respond to this post by choosing one of the vocabulary words and using it in a sentence. Each word should only be used once. In other words, if one of your classmates has already used a word, you cannot use it. Pay close attention to each word's part of speech. It must be used correctly in order for you to get credit. Your sentence must be more than 5 words. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Vocabulary Word:
antidote: n. a remedy to counteract a poison
chronic: adj. continuing for a long time
commemorate: v. to observe; to recall to memory
congregate: v. to gather with others in one place
consolidate: v. to unite into one whole; combine
illicit: adj. unlawful; illegal
inaudible: adj. cannot be heard
rectify: v. to correct a situation or problem
transform: v. to change from one form to another
